What you need to know:
Each Marae will need to appoint one key contact who will liaise with the organisers.
Marae can enter 1 team in each grade if numbers allow we may open it up to 2 teams.
We will let everyone know once we know what the entries look like.
Age ranges:
Taitamariki Under 10
Taiohi 10 – 16 years of age
Mixed 16 – 55 years of age. (If you have one kaumatua 55+ and one Taiohi between 10-16 years in these teams you will get extra points.)
Kaumatua 55+
Kia Mataara - Take Care there are no other event pages (AI has been creating some).

Poitūkohu | Basketball – Taitamariki, Taiohi and Mixed
Poiti | Teeball – Taitamariki
Poiuka | Slowpitch Softball - Mixed
Poirewa | Volleyball – Taitamariki and Mixed
Ki-o-rahi – Taitamatiki and Mixed
Maitā Mā | Indoor Bowls – Kaumatua
Uka | Euchre – Kaumatua
Tiakina te Taiao – Minimise our waste. Bring your drink bottles there are water stations across the venue.
Whakatinanatia te Ora - This is a smoke-free, vape-free, alcohol-free, drug free, violent-free event! Leave ya mates at home.

Do you whakapapa to the Whanganui River? Would you and your whānau like to be registered on the Whanganui Iwi Database? What does that mean?
It means that you get sent pānui and updates on kaupapa related to the Whanganui River and Te Awa Tupua, the people and the river from the Mountains to the Sea. You can also apply for the different grants that are advertised on our website and facebook page.
